Introduction To Stella Hemetsberger
Stella Hemetsberger, born in Vienna (born January 28, 1999) and raised in Salzburg, has had an impressive career in kickboxing.
After graduating from a technical college for mechanical engineering in 2018, she initially worked in England before starting to study sports science in 2020 and a year later working as a police student and in the top sports squad of the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
Her path in Thai boxing began in 2012 at the RS-GYM Salzburg club under coach Roland Schwarz. Since then she has developed her skills in various countries such as England, Thailand, Australia and Spain.
Her success at international level began in 2016 when she took part in competitions for the first time. The following year she became Austrian champion in the K1 discipline and won the K1 European championship title in Skopje.
At the World Championships in Sarajevo 2019 she secured the bronze medal. Her winning streak continued with winning the Irish Open 2020 and further medals at World Cups in Budapest, Prague and Dublin.
Her greatest success came at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama, when she won the final of the 60 kg class against Milana Bjelogrlić of Serbia and took the gold medal.
She continued this success at the 2023 Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup, where she won the gold medal in Budapest for the third year in a row.
She also secured the gold medal at the European Universities Championships (EUC) in Zagreb in July 2023 and at the Italian Kickboxing World Cup in Jesolo in September 2023.
Her most recent triumph came at the Kickboxing World Championships in Albufeira, Portugal, where she beat Devrin Aydim of Turkey 3-0 in the final and again took the gold medal in the K1 up to 60 kilogram discipline.
Hemetsberger's impressive track record makes her one of the most outstanding athletes in international kickboxing and an inspiration to many young athletes worldwide.

I almost can't decide - I could probably name ten. On top of the list, however, are the World Games final and the fights leading up to the final of the 2021 World Championships, where I narrowly came home with silver after four very tough fights.
To fight as hard and as well as possible and achieve as many titles as possible along the way. Ideally, win European and World Championships in K1 as well as Muay Thai. I would also like to continue to demonstrate my skills in the professional field. |
Tip #1: Train regularly: the more training, the more learning effect and faster progress.
Tip #2: Gain experience: use as many opportunities as possible – competitions, sparring, training with “better”/more experienced training partners.
Tip #3: Stick with it. Even if it's not always easy.
